Yet another update for Google+ for Android devices and this time they have succeeded in revamping the app with an all new look, better User Interface and in addition it also supports the latest Android sensation Ice Cream Sandwich.

The newer version Google+ v2.1 comes up with a much more cleaner and streamlines and the design changes to suit the latest Android 4.0 flavor. The major changes in terms of design in this version include the movement of notifications area to the top right, more tightened interface, enlarged view of profile pictures and other photos in the profiles targeting for a better user experience.

Google UI engineer Ben Eidelson in a public post says:

“I’m really excited to announce that the new version of Google+ for Android is available today! We worked closely with the Android team as they developed Android 4.0 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich), so you’ll see the same attention to beauty and simplicity in our new design.

Anyone running Froyo and higher can use the new Google+ app, so feel free to visit Android Market, and download this Halloween treat”

On the whole we really like the enhancement’s that were made in the newer version of Google+ for Android app and we hope the same replicates for Google+ App for iOS.
