Requirements: A HP TouchPad with webOS 3.0.2 version and Preware installed on it. For details on installing Preware on your HP TouchPad go here.

First, you need to open Preware and add two feeds named webos-testing-all and webos-testing-armv7. For detailed instructions on how to add these two feeds go here.

Now, find Govnah in the ‘List Everything’ option on the main menu of Preware. Once you find Govnah install it. After you have installed Govnah, restart your TouchPad.

Open Preware once again and install a feed named webos-kernels-testing. For details on adding this feed go here. After this, once again restart your TouchPad.

Once again open Preware and hit “Upadate Feeds”. Once the feeds have been updated, select “List Everything” option on the main menu of Preware and find F15C Eagle (Touchpad) kernel and install it.

Restart your TouchPad and now your TouchPad is overclocked to 1.7 GHz.

Note: If you install UberKernel instead of F15C Eagle kernel, you could still overclock your TouchPad to 1.5 GHz. Follow the same process as above to install UberKernel, the only difference being that you select UberKernel instead of F15C Eagle.

For all those who were not able to yet purchase a TouchPad, Amazon still has HP TouchPad 16 GB and HP TouchPad 32 GB in stock.
