How To Install Plugins On WordPress?
There are two ways to install WordPress plugins from dashboard and here are the ways how you should install WordPress plugins
Option #1:
- In the WordPress sidebar click on Plugins –> Add New.
- If you know the name of the plugin just type that in the search box and click on “Search Plugins”.
Click on “Install Now” under your desired plugin.
Click OK to continue.
Click on Activate to activate the plugin.
Option #2:
- In the WordPress sidebar click on Plugins –> Add New.
- In this screen click on upload.
- Click on browse and navigate to the location of the plugin in your computer and click on upload to install the plugin.
Click on Activate to activate the plugin.
Option #3 (For Advanced Users)
You can directly download the plugins to your local computer, unzip them and upload them directly to your WordPress file server using FTP at the /wp-content/plugins location.
