Google+ is enjoying its little success as it got over 10 million users in the first two days it went public and at the same time it is conscious about the competition (Facebook Got New TimeLine Feature) and adds new features and security patches to make it more secure and #1 top social networking platform.

As a follow-up to the last Tuesday’s Android update of Google+ now they came up with a similar update for its iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) version, which is now available for free on the App Store.

What’s new in Google+ iOS App?

Now you can join Hangouts right from your iOS device.
Inbuilt Instant Messenger (Huddle now acts like a Messenger).
+1 for your favorite comments.
You will be able to send photos in Messenger.
Map view in your profile for the places where you have lived.
Granular Push Notifications.
Reliability and Security updates for Messenger.
Improved Support for +1 mention and public search for people.
Fixed various Bugs which arised during the development phases.

My love for Google+ is growing but still I miss the key features like Vanity URLs, Brand Pages.. Hope they will come up with them soon and will stand strong as a competitor to Facebook.
