Apple To Get Double Market Share After iPhone 5 Launch [Survey]

According to the recent surveys and after Nokia’s downfall, Apple’s market share has hugely increased and Android Mobile OS is gaining more and more popularity. But, the consumers seem to have a different mindset while choosing a smartphone of their choice.

In a recent survey conducted by Piper Jeffray held among 216 mobile phone users, almost 64% of the people wish to upgrade his/her mobile to iPhone 5 after its launch which is due in September followed by Android which got 17% share and Blackberry with 11%. Among the respondents, only 29% of the people who choose to upgrade to iPhone 5 are existing Apple customers and rest 28%, 17%, 26% belongs to Blackberry, Android and other smartphone and non smartphone users.

This survey really encourages the Apple folks and suggests that Apple will capture almost double the market share after the launch of iPhone 5.
