inneractive has recently published a Infographic on the mobile advertising trends for July, comparing Android and iOS. The report shows that currently, Android leads the race.
Though technically, Android, iOS, RIM, Symbian and Windows are competing for the top spot, the main competition is between Android and iOS.
According to the Infographic, iOS beats Android in the eCPM (Effective cost per mille: the revenue a developer makes per every 1000 impressions of an ad in their app) and CTR (click through rate: the percentage of ad impressions that generate a click) whereas, Android beats iOS in the global fill rate (the percentage of ad impressions that were populated by an ad) and average app life cycle.

I am an Apple fan but with Steve Jobs’ demise, I wonder how Apple will maintain its momentum! Anyways we will always be inspired by him.
